I am having trouble booking a study room.
Getting an error message when I try to book a space.
Answer
If you are having difficulty booking a space within the library, please try the following:
- Ensure you have registered for a library account and that it is active.
- If you have borrowed a book, reserved a seat or space in the past, placed a hold or interlibrary lending request, you have a library account.
- Check that you are using the correct login credentials.
- To book a study room, access online databases, e-books or journal articles from off-campus, enter your webFX credentials when prompted by our proxy server (your StFX email login).
- Once you have determined that you have an active account and are using the correct login information, check that you are using a supported web browser.
- Chrome, Edge, Safari & Firefox are all good browsers. Verify that you are using the latest version.
- If you are still using Internet Explorer, please switch to another browser right away as this is no longer supported by Microsoft and will not work with most of our library systems.
- Some users of Chrome have experienced issues with online library services due to unidentified browser add-ons or extensions. Try disabling these features, restart your browser and then attempt again.
- Chrome, Edge, Safari & Firefox are all good browsers. Verify that you are using the latest version.
- Chromebook users have also had some issues using our online services. Please try using another device if previous steps don't work.
- If you are using a supported browser, clear your browsing history and cached files, then close and restart the browser and try again.
