What are primary sources?

Answer

Primary sources are original, first-hand descriptions, usually published at the time of or shortly after a particular event. The Library's History Subject Guide has more information about primary sources and how to find them.

If you have any questions about primary sources, you can get help at the Library reference desk or by contacting a Liaison Librarian.
