How do I add library links to Google Scholar?

Answer

Don’t Pay: Get full text articles in Google Scholar

Look for the “Check for full text @ X” link next to each result. Use that link to get the full text via the Library’s subscriptions.

Option 1

1. Go to Google Scholar and login to your account. If you do not have a Google account, create one.

2. Go to our customized settings screen on Google Scholar

3. Click Save

Option 2

1. Go to Google Scholar and login to your account. If you do not have a Google account, create one.

2. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top left hand corner of the page.

3. In the menu that appears click on the "Cog" symbol. The "Cog" symbol is used to mean "Settings".

4. In the left hand navigation, click "Library links".

5. In the library search box, type "St. Francis Xavier University". You have to type the full university name, Google Scholar will not recognize "StFX".

8. You will now se the "Check for full text @ X" links.
