Can I use some of your photographs and other scanned images in my term paper, thesis, or power point presentation?
Answer
Yes, if StFX owns the copyright for it and you complete the required scanned image agreement. If the photograph/scanned image is from personal papers, the copyright may lie with the donors/heirs of the personal papers and permission to use the material will have to be sought. As well, you are required to properly cite the work and give credit to the StFX University Archives as you would a published source.
