How do I borrow a laptop?

Booking a laptop
This service is only available for StFX students who are in Antigonish.
- Navigate to:
or click on the quick link to Borrow a Laptop from our website.
- Click on the item
- Have the patron sign-in to their library account.
- Units available to borrow will have a “Request” link available in the item list. Click on this link to start the booking process. Click on the Show More Items link to display more units and check their availability.
- Add a note in the Comment field, if necessary, then click Submit Request.
6. Laptops must be picked up within 1 business day. Holds will be cancelled after 1 day and the laptops will be made available for other users to borrow.
7. The lending period for laptops is 3 weeks, with the option for 1 renewal for another 3 weeks, which will happen automatically if the laptop is not returned before the original due date.
