How do I book a study space?
The process for booking a study room has been enhanced to make booking easier!
Answer
- From the library website, click on the "Book a Study Space" tile.
- Read the information relating to our study spaces and under the heading "Book a Study Space Now", choose whether to book your space using our search/suggestion based form or from one of our interactive maps (instructions on how to book from the maps are under development, so please use the booking form for now).
Using the Booking Form
- Select Angus L. Macdonald Library from the location drop down box.
- Choose the criteria for the room booking that meets your needs using the drop-down menus.
- Select your preferred date up to 7 days in advance.
- Select your preferred start and end times.
- Click the blue "Search" button.
- Available options will display on the right. If your preferred time frame is not available, the displayed options will tell you the times the rooms are open.
- Click the blue "Book Now" button in the box for the room you would like to select.
- Authenticate using your WebFX credentials. Contact the library if you cannot make it past this stage.
- Confirm your information, choose your patron type, enter any special information into the text box, agree to the terms, then click "Submit My Booking".
- Check the details of your booking from the confirmation screen and then choose to make another booking or logout.
- You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your booking, how to check-in when you arrive so that you don't lose your booking and a link to cancel your booking if it is no longer needed.
